Chris Thomas
Returning to the Miss Collierville stage as emcee is Chris Thomas. A native Memphian, Chris is completing his fourth term as Probate Court Clerk in 1994 where he’s credited with modernizing the office to increase efficiency and improve customer service. Local attorneys rate Thomas’ office tops among court clerk offices for exceptional service. He is running for Shelby County Commission in May 2010.
Chris also serves is Chairman of the Escort Marshals Committee for the St. Jude Golf Classic and serves on the Marguerite Piazza St. Jude Gala Board. He also is involved with promotions for the Delta Fair and Music Festival, and was the 2005 Race Director for Memphis-Mid-South Race for the Cure. He is past Chairman of the Board of Youth for Christ (now J.I.F.F.) and is a Board Member for Life Choices. Signed with Colors talent agency, Chris enjoys acting, modeling and hosting a quarterly cable television program, called “Probate Matters.” This summer, he will appear in the movie, The Grace Card, starring Lou Gossett Jr.
