Collierville Princess Mentoring Program
The Collierville Princess Mentoring Program is designed to benefit young ladies 6 to 11 years of age. This allows these young women to benefit from and be involved with the Miss Collierville Organization/Miss America Organization and learn from the young women who are role models in our community.
Each young lady will participate in four mini-workshops (two-hours each). Each session is a positive, fun experience for each Princess. Refreshments are included.
At the end of the workshop schedule, each young lady will be crowned a Miss Collierville Princess during a January 3 Coronation Ceremony at the Harrell Theatre. This is a free event for parents, grandparents and family.*
Each Princess will participate on-stage in the 2008 Miss Collierville Pageant production on January 5, 2008. In addition, each Princess will be paired with a older contestant in the Miss Collierville Pageant to serve as a Mentor.
Taught by experienced community leaders, workshops topics include:
- Stage Presence/Modeling
- Etiquette
- Photography
- Stage Production
Each Princess will receive:
- Enrollment in four, two-hour workshops
- Official Miss Collierville Princess Crown
- Official T-Shirt
- Photo session with J&B Childress Portrait Photography
- One 8x10 color photo
- Participation in Princess Coronation Ceremony (January 3, 2008)
- Photograph in the 2008 Miss Collierville Program Book
- Participation in two Miss Collierville production numbers on January 5, 2008
- Complimentary tickets to the Princess Crowning
- Autograph Photos of Miss Collierville and Miss Tennessee
- Discounts on future classes and photography
- Complimentary tickets to each family for the Coronation Ceremony; Miss Collierville Tickets will be sold separately

*The Princess Mentoring Program is NOT A PAGEANT. Workshop clothing is casual. A simple, white dress will be needed for the Coronation Ceremony/Miss Collierville Pageant. A simple production number outfit may be required based on this year’s production.
Outstanding Teen Program
The Miss Collierville Scholarship Pageant has added the teen division to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement of our community’s youth.
The program is intended to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, community service, and academic achievement of girls between 13 and 17 years of age.
The teen division has been created in affiliation with the local and state Miss America pageants, to help young women prepare for the Miss America program.
As Miss Collierville Outstanding Teen (formerly known as Miss Teen Collierville) or Miss Collierville Princess, you will be the official teen hostess for our city. You will gain through the rich personal experience of meeting and associating with many exciting people from across the city and across the state of Tennessee.
The Teen winners will compete in the Miss Tennessee Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant to be held in Martin, TN on Saturday, March 15, 2008.
At each level, winners and alternates receive hundreds of dollars in scholarship money, which will help further your education. The winner of Miss Tennessee Outstanding Teen Pageant advances to the national Miss America Outstanding Teen Pageant.
Qualifications for Miss Collierville Outstanding Teen:
- Be a female
- Be at least 13 years old on January 5, 2008
- Be no older the 17 years old on September 30, 2008. If you are going to college in the Fall of 2008, you are not eligible to be in the Outstanding Teen Program.
- Be a citizen of the United States of America
- Be of good moral character
- Be a resident of Shelby County.
- Not be married, never have been married, never have had a marriage annulled, never cohabitated or have a child.
- Be available for public appearances during 2008
- TEEN DIVISION: Compete in Talent, Interview, On-Stage Question, Fitness Wear and Evening Wear Competitions
